Screening & Observation

Screening and observation  are the first step in determining which young children are at risk for developmental, behavioural or cognitive difficulties. The screening maybe done through family interview or observation of the child at home or school environment.

The result of the screening is important because it determines the child’s developmental age- appropriate level or there maybe show an early signs of developmental delays or disability.

A therapist will provide realistic and practical recommendations based on children need whether they may benefit from early intervention services.

So that we can develop treatment program and goals collaborating between classroom teacher and other professionals to optimize children success in the classroom and to prevent further developmental difficulties.
